Battery System Engineer

The Development Engineer Battery is responsible for battery system, battery E/E development and/or tracking cell and future battery technology monitoring.

 Responsibilities:

• Preparation and presentation of project results to customer.
• Requiremente engineering and DVP definiton.
• Functional integration and balancing of target conflicts.
• Battery testing (incl. definition of test specs, support testing management & execution, review of results).
• Definition of E/E architecture.
• Responsibility for all E/E parts (incl. maintenance in BOM, release recommendation of parts, etc).
• Technical E/E parts supplier management (incl. derive requirement document for parts, define and review DVP).
• Acquisition and execution of funded R&E projects.
• Monitor cell technology.
• Cell data base maintenance and (support) cell testing.
• Cell supplier selection and steering.
• Monitor new cell and battery technologies.

 Profile:

• Typically University degree (Bachelor or Master, PhD helpful for senior positions) in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering, chemistry or physics.
• Excellent English and intercultural skills.
• Typical soft skills.
