Engine Engineer Motorsport Customer Support (m/f/d)

Our battery team takes a holistic approach to developing the traction battery as a key component of every modern drivetrain, from concept development to the release recommendation for production. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support for engine and related electronic systems during motorsport events and tests
• Support customers with engine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting topics
• Analyze engine and vehicle data and prepare technical recommendations
• Support software dataset and fuel mapping-related topics
• Prepare reports after events and follow up on open technical points
• Cooperate with project leaders, test engineers and other technical teams
• Contribute to improving reliability, performance and competitiveness of motorsport applications

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Combustion Engines, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar
• Knowledge of combustion engines and engine mechanics
• Experience in motorsport, automotive testing or technical customer support
• Experience with data analysis tools, ideally in a motorsport environment
• Knowledge of engine calibration or motorsport ECU systems is a plus
• Good command of English, written and spoken; another language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic event environment
• Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
