Test Engineer - Driving Functions

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Application of the chassis control parameters according to the legislation and customer specifications

• Preparing, organizing, executing and evaluating vehicle test drives worldwide

• Application of the ADAS/AD function control parameters according to the legislation and customer specifications

• Reporting and presenting test results to the customer

• Planning, implementation and management of application projects for control systems in the chassis area

• Calibration of chassis control systems (steering, ESP, active chassis,…) on the HIL, testbed and on road test or on proving ground

• Engineering support in production series launch and certification procedures

• ADF (Automated Driving Function) certification requirements

• Define EPS (Environment Perception System) and self-pilot co-pilot system certification requirements

• Defining requirements for real test conditions

• Generating a protocol or accurate test guide for real testing

• Defining requirements for handling test data

• Defining real testing methods

• Demonstration and utilization of project results 

YOUR PROFILE:

• BSc or MSc in mechanical, automotive or related engineering discipline

• Understanding of software logic and algorithms

• Understanding of vehicle and powertrain systems, as well as their interactions

• Detailed technical and physical understanding of vehicle and related powertrain components and their legislative requirements

• High level proficiency with data evaluation, post processing and calibration software
