Web Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a creative, talented, and highly motivated developer to join our SaaS development team. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the development of modern web-based user experiences and SaaS solutions as part of our AVL Simulation Suite product portfolio. You will be involved in the design and implementation of applications and tools using cloud computing technology that will revolutionize the way how our software is used and consumed.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Active work in an agile scrum team on novel SaaS solutions
•    Write maintainable, efficient, and portable code (Linux/Windows)
•    Contribute to Azure cloud and product architecture, and software design
•    Share your knowledge through code reviews and participate in technical discussions
•    Collaborate and communicate effectively with a team of international developers
•    Collaborate in creating and improving user experience
 

YOUR PROFILE:

•    Background in computer science, mathematics, physics, or other technical field
•    Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, event handling, and async programming
•    Experience of building responsive interfaces using modern HTML5 and CSS
•    Experience of front-end frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js
•    Proficient in some server-side language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java)
•    Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases
•    Basic knowledge of server platforms (server configurations, deployment)
•    Experience with Version Control with CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
•    Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and virtual machines for deployment and scaling.
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and services (e.g., Azure Batch, AKS)
•    Some familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana)
