Our young but experienced team in Zagreb is part of electrification business in the automotive sector (battery cell testing & inverters). We design converters using cutting edge transistor technologies (SiC, GaN) and high-end measurement equipment.

System Engineer Power Electronic Converters

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Develop test plans for power electronic products (on a system lavel)
•    Plan, prepare and execute tests (approval tests, type tests, acceptance tests and more)
•    Approve new products and releases internally
•    Develop and prepare technical training material & provide train the trainer programs for AVL installation, commissioning, support and Skill Center teams
•    Train AVL installation, commissioning and support teams by participation at early or lead customer installation
•    Process 3rd-level technical support
•    Execute QDARs, NPTIPs, 8D-Reports (analysis of failures and structure process for solving them)
•    Provide technical remote support for AVL installation, commissioning and service teams
•    Provide technical support for Product Management in complex projects
•    Provide interface descriptions between AVL products
•    Provide customer and application feedback for the development
•    Cooperation with device production in AVL (mainly Graz, Austria) and development teams
•    Combine and test different AVL products together (eg. AVL battery tester with AVL Puma automation system)

YOUR PROFILE:

•    Secondary technical college/ university of applied sciences/ university of technology graduate or comparable technical education in electrical engineering or automation engineering with experience
•    Experience with following topics highly appreciated:Bussystems (CAN, Powerlink, Ethernet)
•    Measurement setups (oscilloscope, measurement tools)
•    Power electronics
•    Automation engineering (PLC, SPS)
•    High quality awareness and execution precision as well as troubleshooting and analytic skills
•    Methodical and structured way of working are your comfort zone
•    You like open technical discussions with team members 
•    Good communication skills (acting as a proxy between dev team, technicians, project managers..)
•    English skills (B2 or higher) 
•    Teamspirit, good communication skills and self-confident appearance
•    Willingness to travel ca. 20%
