Student Trainee - DevOps & Toolchain Administration

Are you eager to dive into the world of DevOps and software quality management? Join our Central IT DevOps Team and gain hands-on experience managing and optimizing key development tools like SonarQube and JFrog Artifactory.
This is a great opportunity to learn how enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and artifact repositories are maintained, secured, and scaled across global teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    SonarQube Administration: Help maintain and configure SonarQube instances, manage quality profiles and rulesets, and support integration with CI/CD pipelines.
•    Artifactory Management: Assist in organizing and securing artifact repositories, managing permissions, and optimizing storage and replication strategies.
•    Toolchain Integration: Support integration of SonarQube and Artifactory with platforms like GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
•    Monitoring & Maintenance: Learn how to monitor tool performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates and patches.
•    Security & Access Control: Help implement role-based access and ensure compliance with internal security policies.
•    Documentation & Support: Contribute to internal documentation and provide support to development teams using these tools.
 

YOUR PROFILE:

We’re looking for curious and motivated students with:
•    Interest or experience in DevOps tools and practices
•    Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines
•    Familiarity with SonarQube or other code quality tools
•    Exposure to artifact management (e.g., Artifactory, Nexus)
•    Experience with Linux and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
•    Knowledge of Git-based workflows and version control
•    Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
•    Willingness to work in a hybrid setup and occasionally travel to our HQ in Graz, Austria
•    A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning
