Simulation Engineer FEA/MBS (f/m)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Contribute to the design and development of powertrain components by performing structural simulations, vibration analysis and optimization studies to enhance product performance
•    Based on CAD data, preparation of FEM meshes by using the commercial pre-processing tools, numerical calculations of powertrain assemblies and components, including thermal calculations, strength and dynamics studies using CAE tools
•    Evaluation of results and writing of project technical reports, reporting to internal and customer teams and management
•    Responsibility for technical, methodological, and quality aspect

YOUR PROFILE:

•    Essential: 
   o    Engineering education (MSc, MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or similar
   o    Experience in some of CAE/MBS tools (such as SIMLAB, ANSA, HYPERMESH, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMFAT, AVL EXCITE, ADAMS …)
   o    Experience in evaluating calculation results and correlations with tests 
   o    Handling of common software operating systems (Windows, Linux)
   o    Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English, willingness to learn German
   o    Willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team

• Preferable: 
   o    A working knowledge of power unit and vehicle architectures and components
   o    Driving License
