QA Manager (f/m)

The QA team is responsible for testing Data analytics platform, maintaining and writing new tests  and monitoring Data analytics platform. You will be responsible for leading QA team, coordinate tests execution from development and DevOps teams and support in release process to ensure highest quality standards for Data analytics platform. Data analytics platform is fast-growing SaaS product which revolutionizes the way automotive business leverage data analytics to make smarter decision. Our platform empowers organizations to extract insights from complex datasets with ease, enabling them to drive innovation and efficiency.  You will identify and analyze most complex and most error prone parts of system and propose solutions to improve quality. You will be responsible for writing automated tests on both frontend and backend components to identify defects and ensure that software applications meet the company’s quality standards. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Innovative and strategic projects in the automotive industry for various domains (fleet data, RDE, ADAS, …) related to Data Management
•    Automated testing of both frontend and backend components
•    Lead, mentor and manage QA team and foster culture of quality and continuous improvement within Data analytics platform
•    Develop, implement and maintain QA processes, standards and best practices
•    Ensure that QA processes are followed and quality standards are met through the product life cycle
•    Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases and test scripts
•    Close collaboration with product management, development and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality
•    Define and track QA metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA processes and identify areas for improvement
•    Ensure that products comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
•    Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance
•    Active participation in the concept and development of new applications and optimization of existing uses; for internal and external clients
•    Testing of APIs and Services for encapsulated access to business logics
•    Work with latest architectures and technologies

YOUR PROFILE:

•    Engineering education (MSc, MEng or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Informatics/Telematics, Mathematics/Statistics or Engineering Degree 
•    Previous experience with QA engineering
•    Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in the QA Engineer role or any other SW development role, with at least 1 years of experience in leadership or management role
•    Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving with the attention to details
•    Basics of microservices architecture
•    Basics of with concept of ETL pipeline 
•    Basics of scripting languages 
•    Previous experience with:
     o    Software Lifecycle / Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI)
     o    Web UI testing (e.g. Selenium, Cypress …)
     o    Test Management tool (e.g. TestRail)
     o    Performance testing
•    Talent for finding bugs, commitment to detail-oriented work, and a pro-active mindset
•    Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
•    A proactive person with a team spirit
•    Willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team
•    Readiness for business trips in course of development projects
•    Preferable:
     o    Working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication, and components
     o    Linux/Unix experience
     o    Knowledge of programming languages and scripting is a plus
     o    Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, message brokers and cloud services
     o    Driving license
