HiL (Hardware in the Loop) Tester (f/m)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position includes testing of various vehicle functions in "hardware-in-the-loop (HiL)" environments. It is about various functions of the vehicle like braking, driving and other systems in the current (and future) vehicles configurations. 
To get to the actual testing, understanding and management of the system itself is expected as part of the work. It is necessary to monitor the state of the software of all physical components, which are used in the simulation, with continuous upgrading of the device to new versions of the software. It is a large set of vehicle platforms and functions, and gradual familiarization with the content and foundations of the functions being tested is expected. 

YOUR PROFILE:

•    Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical / mechatronics / control / electrical / electronic engineering, preferably master’s degree
•    Experience with control functions
•    Know-How in dSpace HiLs or equivalent tools
•    Good knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink 
•    Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving with the attention to details
•    Good knowledge of powertrain and vehicle elements
•    Good communication and team skills.
•    Business fluent in English, German is an advantage 
•    Willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team
•    Preferable:
     o    Working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication, and components
     o    Linux/Unix experience
