We have an immediate, permanent, full-time position available for a highly motivated individual for the role of
Jr. Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) Engineer
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with a global team of engineers and scientists on the development of innovative fuel cell and electrolyzer technologies.
- Conduct component engineering activities incl. R&D, requirements management, and design & release of MEA components.
- Contribute to subscale testing/benchmarking and data analysis of MEA materials to better understand their properties.
- Develop MEA assembly processes and tooling/fixtures for use in our prototyping lab.
- Work closely with internal testing and modeling teams to validate component performance and identify degradation mechanisms.
- Study and validate advanced MEA materials for use in future fuel cell and electrolyzer designs.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar.
- Experience in fields relevant to PEM fuel cell or electrolyzer.
- Thorough understanding of fuel cell/electrolyzer electrochemistry and CCM structure/property relationships.
- Research-oriented with the ability to review literature against practical methods and results.
- A desire to work hands-on in an engineering lab & rapid prototyping environment.

The salary range for this position is CAD 55,000 – CAD$ 70,000 and will be based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, and internal parity.
