The SD-E is responsible during all project phases for the Electrical Engineering of Test Bed Systems. Based on the ITS Engineering Process the System Designer Electrics performs lean, state of the art and cost efficient engineering for switch gears and electrical installations considering current directives/international standards, latest internal standards, technologies and interfaces as well as customer standards and requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Basic and detailed electrical engineering for industrial facilities
• Design of low voltage control and distribution cabinets
• Design and evaluation of safety-related control systems (functional safety) according to IEC 60204-1 and ISO 13849-1
• Design of fire and gas detection systems
• Preparation of project-specific schematics in EPLAN P8
• Interface engineering 
• Pro-active interface function to internal departments and customers
• System integration 
• Carrying out pre-acceptance and final customer acceptance procedures 
• Supervision of suppliers 
• Innovative working methods and developing our system standards further

YOUR PROFILE:

• Electrical engineering or automation engineering graduate of a secondary technical college/university of applied sciences/university of technology
• Qualification in these fields
• Experience in electrical engineering will be appreciated.
• Experience with CAE tools (e.g. EPLAN P8)
• Team spirit, diplomatic skills and self-confidence
• English required (minimum level B2).
• Spanish required.
• Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD
• Also valuing knowledge in PLC programing, electric simulation (e.g. PSim), Load Flow Analysis software (e.g. ETAP) and MATLAB.
• Contract, during the first two years, internship contract for graduates.
