Design of equipment or building for automotive industry engineer internship

AVL, a leading company in testing services for the automotive industry, offers an internship position as a process engineer to design mechanical layouts and equipment mechanical design, and coordinate their manufacture with suppliers in the sector within the framework of innovative turnkey projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

To contribute to:

• Analysis of specifications
• Design of systems through mechanical CAD (Solid Works, REVIT, Sketchup)
• General layouts design, for building, test bench…
• Layout of the installation from theoretical calculations.
• Mechanical design
• Coordination with other departments
• Preparation of technical specifications for the contracting of suppliers following quality standards.
• Visit to customer and supplier facilities
• Project monitoring
• Reporting

YOUR PROFILE:

• Good knowledge of CAD Software (CATIA/Solid Works, REVIT, Sketchup)
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD
• Good knowledge in layouts.
• Good knowledge in mechanical design.
• Basic knowledge in facilities, fluids, electricity.
• Basic knowledge in security regulations.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, proactive in the search for solutions and capacity for innovation.
• Communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge in MS Office.
• English (minimum B2 level).
• Spanish (minimum B2 level).
