Internship Opportunity: Smart Mobility System Validation in Europe

Join a dynamic and innovative project focused on the future of intelligent mobility across Europe. This internship offers the chance to be part of an international validation campaign for smart vehicle technologies, with a strong focus on intelligent speed limit assistance systems and regulatory compliance.

Over the course of the project, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of real-world test drives across more than 20 European countries. The experience includes exposure to cutting-edge vehicle prototypes, data acquisition systems, and advanced driver assistance technologies. You will gain hands-on experience in mobility research, road safety validation, and data-driven system analysis while contributing to a large-scale European deployment.

Interns will collaborate closely with the Data Science team to develop a deep understanding of how smart mobility solutions are evaluated and improved. This role is ideal for engineering or data science students with strong analytical skills, an interest in the automotive or mobility sectors, and a passion for innovative transportation technologies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the planning, execution, and analysis of real-world test drives across more than 20 European countries.
• Exposure to cutting-edge vehicle prototypes, data acquisition systems, and advanced driver assistance technologies.
• Gain hands-on experience in mobility research, road safety validation, and data-driven system analysis while contributing to a large-scale European deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to develop a deep understanding of how smart mobility solutions are evaluated and improved.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Academic background in engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Aeronautical, etc.).
• Passion for automotive technology and willingness to travel across Europe for several months (approximately 2-3 months).
• Positive attitude, teamwork, proactive in the search for solutions and capacity for innovation
• Strong commitment and analytical skills.
• Ideal start date: within 1 month to 1-5 months.
• Duration: 5 to 6 months.
• English and Spanish lenguages required
• Driving license B

It is essential to confirm with the university in advance whether the collaboration agreement allows travel abroad during those months, to more than 20 European countries.
