Automotive Calibration Quality Dataset manager
Within the project team, the Calibration Quality & Dataset Manager is responsible for the overall data management. The job compares software as well as datasets and creates new datasets by merging all calibrations of all involved calibration engineers. In an overlapping powertrain project between different skill areas, the job is taking over this task for all assigned xCUs/datasets.
Furthermore, the person in the job moderates and monitors the calibration quality gate process in the project and ensures and performs quality and compliance related measures. Also, the calibration release process as well as the data exchange and handling with the customer is part of the DMEs job profile.
Main target is the on-time delivery of production datasets for powertrain and vehicle SOP by ensuring AVLs quality standard.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for data management and related processes within the assigned projects
• Monitoring, ensuring and performing quality and compliance related measures within the assigned projects
• Handling and maintenance of CRETATM and all other related tools within the assigned projects
• CRETATM tool-based creation/merging of new calibration datasets
• Creation of data and software comparisons and reports
• Data handling and mirroring between customer and AVL
• Customer communication for data exchange and handling
• Preparation and moderation of regular internal and external data-meetings
• Monitoring and execution of the QG-Milestone process
• Monitoring of the Dataset and QG-Milestone documentation
• Preparation and moderation of QG-Milestone meetings
• Preparation and start of the calibration release process
• Preparation of reports and presentations for data releases
• Support Lead Engineer for research, development and improvement of new/existing fea-tures and tools in his/her field of work
• Monitors the dataset and QG-documentation
o Monitors, ensures and performs quality and compliance related measures within the assigned project
YOUR PROFILE:
• Completed apprenticeship as a car mechanic, mechatronics technician, or secondary college for technical education (e.g. HTL) degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar fields.Strong knowledge of thermodynamics concepts
• Keen in handling with numbers
• English language skills (very good or higher)
• High communication and moderating skills (meeting-moderator, customer communication)
• Precise and structured working style
• Process-affinity
• Strong appearance with assertiveness
