Solution Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Solution Engineer for Application works together with customer on solutions, possibly by using the existing development systmes / environmnet.
  • Clarification of customer's tasks and target
  • Check if existing system is suited and can be used for the task
  • Development of solutions based on possibilities of customer systems
  • Discussion and expansion of possible solutions with / to the customers
• The Solution Engineer for Application is responsible for the technical correctness of the offered.
• The Solution Engineer for Application ensures that the cost calculated is accurate
• Analyzes the RFQ and discusses possible solutions with customer, that can support the customer during their development process.
• Decides for the correct technical information provided (TIP)
• Creates a diverse application portfolio to expand the application business.
• Makes technical presentations and conducts solution demonstration at customer locations
• Maintains all propsoal information in Salesforce as proposal status, completion dates, quote versions and sets a history log of the quotes.

YOUR PROFILE:

Basic 

• Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics
• Excellenct computer ability such as Excel, Powerpoint and Word
• Driving license
• Fluency in English commnuication skills
• Willingness to travel to support sales and project activities both domestic and international

Preferred 

• System, product and application knowledge concerning the BU portfolio.
• Market understanding
• Technical, commercial and education according to need of BU business.
• Innovative mindset
• A structured approach to work, anlytical thinking, pronounced social skills, and teamwork skills
