Senior Accountant

*Note: This position is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension for an additional year or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and evaluation

This role exists to ensure the integrity of financial operations by managing essential accounting responsibilities and supporting accurate, compliant financial reporting. The scope includes broader financial functions such as overseeing accounting processes, coordinating audits, contributing to forecasting reliability, leading VAT compliance, supporting local tax documentation, and managing treasury-related operations. The position works closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain timely and sound financial practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounting Operations and Audit Coordination.
• Lead month-end and year-end closings, including inventory and sales reconciliation for accurate financial records.
• Pro-actively find out any accounting issues and solve it become problem.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data and follow up any open items.
• Continuously validate data to identify and correct discrepancies in costs, revenues, and internal orders.
• Lead the VAT reporting and filing process in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Support preparation of documentation for corporate income tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Coordinate audit processes by preparing audit schedules and required documentation.
• Contribute to audit completeness through improved understanding of revenue recognition, inventory flow, and accounting practices.
• .Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations while supporting accuracy in financial reporting and collaborating with other teams on process improvements.
• Help improve the accuracy of cash forecasting through AR tracking and consistent crossfunctional collaboration.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure forecast inputs are timely and reliable.
• Prepare and support monthly closing reports to HQ..
• Support efficiency improvements in financial operations.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive finance experience is preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and practices for both K-GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis.
• SAP migration experience is plus
• English proficiency with strong written skills and the ability to communicate effectively in business contexts.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset
