Calibration Engineer

 

The calibration Engineer should plan, generate, and verify feature calibration in various environmnetal conditions in accordanc with system functional objectives along with generating report to communicate the status of the project to the customer. For tests or H/W preparation, the calibration engineer should communicated with test engineers and operators, mechanics. The calibration engineer should report technical task to the lead engineer of the project manager. The calibration engineer is responsbile for developing, testing, validating H/W based calibrations that acheive project purposes.

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Maintain engine, drivetrain components, vehicle, and testbed data.
  • Define and execute test plans in all required environments.
  • Conduct robustness testing for production tolerances and market requirements.
  • Analyze measurement data and optimize calibration parameters using tools like AVL Concerto, MDA, INCA, and CRETA.
  • Perform optimization and testing under all climatic conditions.
  • Document calibration changes and measurement results in CRETA.
  • Use defined methodologies and tools for efficiency and quality.
  • Support the development of calibration methodologies and tools.
  • Provide technical supervision, mentoring, and support for homologation and production start.
  • Plan and execute powertrain and vehicle development programs, including presenting and reporting results to customers

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

Must-Haves:

  • Education: You should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrification Engineering.
  • Experience: We’re looking for someone with over 3 years of experience in ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) or Hybrid calibration.
  • Teamwork and Independence: You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, whether it's a large group or a small one.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a structured approach to work, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Language and Travel: Fluency in English is a must, and you should be willing to travel as needed.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is required.

 

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Advanced Education: A Master's or PhD in Engineering or a related technical field is a plus.
  • Powertrain Development: Experience in powertrain development, including project planning, project work, and project management, is highly preferred
