Verification & Validation Engineer (Tangier)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing detailed diagnostics on returned or faulty vehicles and components (ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, etc.).

• Analyzing hardware and software malfunctions using functional schematics, internal wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.

• Applying internal procedures for testing, commissioning, disassembly, and reassembly of systems and components.

• Investigating failures based on customer feedback and field returns (Level 1 and Level 2 analysis).

• Proposing and documenting corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.

• Preparing and presenting technical reports and ensuring follow-up actions, using standardized templates and internal guidelines.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate solutions and contribute to product and process improvement.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in diagnostics and aftersales support within the automotive industry.

• Strong knowledge of embedded HW/SW systems, ECUs, communication protocols (CAN, LIN), and diagnostic tools (e.g., INCA, DDT2000, CANalyzer).

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.

• Ability to synthesize complex technical data into actionable and structured plans.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
