Team Leader Design

As a Team Leader - Design within our company, you will be the central pillar of our design team. Your role will be to guide and oversee our designers, ensuring they meet their goals and produce outstanding creative solutions.
We are looking for a creative leader with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently. If you are passionate about design and eager to make a meaningful contribution to our success, we would like to meet you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Ensures the successful execution and completion of projects assigned to the team by satisfying project-specific tasks assigned according to AVL guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices.
• Guides the daily work of the technical project team members.
• Assess and reviews work results of the project team and provides guidance to ensure the accuracy and quality of work according to the relevant guidelines and processes.
• Provides technical support, as required, to the team.
• Identifies solutions to resolve project-related technical conflicts.
• Complies with AVL design standards and processes.
• Responsible for the professional development of team members.
• This includes providing continuous feedback, performance appraisals, career planning, training/development needs.
• With the help of Human Resources, manages the team in accordance with local labor laws.
• Foster a creative and collaborative work environment.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years engineering experience in design field.
• Profound knowledge in project management and strong organizational abilities.
• Understanding of applicable design standards and processes.
• Intercultural competence.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
