System development Engineer - PWT

As a member of the system engineering team, you will be working on a range of projects, setting functional strategy & developping diagnostic & safety concepts related to powertrain functionalities s.a combustion, after-treatement, air-path, ...

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specify the diagnostic approaches for distinct Powertrain components and confirm regulatory compliance.
• Choose the OBD relevant unit and describe the communication protocols among the ECUs.
• Update the new requirements of the OBD-manager towards the Diagnostics and Reconfiguration manager.
• Analysis of the OBD impact of each component failure and its recovery modes.
• Planning of Pre-PVE OBD realization, ensuring the Follow-up of the results and implementing the necessary corrections.
• Preparing/reviewing the certification documents for authorities.
• Ensuring the update of all of Safety deliverables in PWT level : Safety Plan/Safety impact/Safety assessment/FMEA/TSC/ Safety case Support Aftersales team to ensure Maintainability of Powertrain components.
• Manage project communication with all the stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree in embedded systems, mechatronics, Electronic, Electric, or related fields.
• Experience of > 2 years in powertrain systems design & engineering /Safety/ Diag/ OBD. Good knowledge of ICE & Hybrid powertrains (PHEV/MHEV) main functions Good knowledge of Power electronics (OBC), EE architecture, electrical networks (CAN -LIN, etc.) Strong Knowledge of OBD standards.
• Knowledge of MATLAB Simulink (SPEC reading)
• Ability to manage communication and ease in exchanges with all the stakeholders.
• Good analytical skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
