Software and Functions Engineer

The Software and Functions Engineer analyses/writes system/SW requirements, develops algorithms and validates them on MIL. Activity performed following the MBD SW development approach for Control Units applied to ICE and xEV powertrains for both Applicative and lower layers SW (CAN, LIN, physical interfaces, etc)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing BMS functions and algorithms in our MatLab Simulink based development environment up to production maturity
• Defining requirements for the functions based on system- and customer requirements
• Aligning your development activities with other departments
• Testing and calibrating our solutions
• Contributing on HIL, battery test benches and vehicles testing if required
• Together with our team, you are ensuring continuous quality and cutting-edge technology for our global customers

YOUR PROFILE:

• Passionate to drive E-mobility further and bring new solutions to the market
• Degree in embedded systems, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the fields of SW control engineering and model-based design (component design, implementation, MIL)
• Knowledge about EV and xHEV vehicles
• Knowledge about Hight Voltage systems and battery operation
• Knowledge about system engineering, SW process
• Experience in BMS SW is advantageous (SOC, energy management, power management, diagnostics …)
• Mastery of MATLAB, SIMULINK
• Enjoy to communicate and work in a team
• Have an analytical and conceptual thinker
• Good command of English
• Want to have fun at work
