Project Buyer

The Project Buyer will select suppliers and negotiate contracts to meet project objectives in terms of Quality, Cost, Timing, and Risk (QCTR). He/She will manage sourcing for components, services, tooling, and equipment from the early development stages, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with standards.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track any evolution of the valorized Bill of Materials.

• Manage prototype development at suppliers and tooling orders for program items.

• Validate, with the support of the Legal Department, all contractual and warranty documents between Plastic Omnium and suppliers.

• Support the supplier development process and ensure suppliers are aligned with project requirements and objectives.

• Encourage suppliers to develop technically and economically optimized products and services.

• Propose cost savings and contribute to improving material margin through alternative sourcing or the introduction of innovative solutions.

• Interface with the global purchasing organization for local sourcing, localization plans, and technical center coordination.

• Anticipate cost and development needs to enhance supplier and product development.

YOUR PROFILE:

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive sector.

• Strong negotiation and organizational skills.

• Fluent in English (business level).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a multicultural environment.

• Good understanding of the product development (project/program) process.

• Clear communication, team spirit, listening.
