IT Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified IT Technician to become a valuable part of our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and participating in IT projects and service improvements. Your expertise and motivation will be key to our success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
• Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
• Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
• Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
• Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
• Conducting daily backup operations.
• Preparation of computer workstations.
• Inventory management.
• Administrative management of material staffing / restitution.
• Take charge of customer incidents: qualification, analysis, diagnosis, resolution, escalate to the appropriate service, in case of impossibility of resolution at your level.
• Feed our incident management tool and respect our procedures.
• Raise user awareness on IT security and good practice rules.
• Participate in IT projects and service improvements (strength of proposals).
• Provide technical support to users on existing systems and networks.
• Prevent system and network malfunctions and malfunctions.
• Actively participate in the improvement of services offered to customers in close relation with the team, Configure, install, supervise various environments (physical servers, virtual, network equipment, security solutions, monitor IT assets.
• Maintain standards in place for ISO 27001.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Diploma in computer science or semilar fields.
• 2 years as experience in computer networks, maintenance systems and as an IT technician Level 2.
• Able to handle emergency situations
• Sensitive to quality of service and customer relationship
• Proficient in database programming and software installation.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit a collaborative mindset, excelling in teamwork and displaying proactive interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French)
• English is an asset.
