IT & Telecom Engineer (Senior)

We are seeking an IT & Telecom Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our network infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation, working closely with the architecture team to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor the stable operation of the organization’s Networking infrastructure.
• Documenting and promoting designated technical standards
• Piloting new technologies in coordination with architecture
• Support team members

YOUR PROFILE:

• At least 7 years experience engineering, implementing, and operating networking technologies in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated project experience with large-scale networking platforms, applications, automation and services implementations.
• Product, service, and vendor knowledge.
• Knowledge of SLA, KPI’s, and forecasting.
• Experience with system monitoring and automation within global environments.
• Experience working with onshore and offshore teams.
• Experience working with insourced and outsourced IT Operations.
• Leadership.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (Project, Visio).

SPECIFIC SKILLS :

• LAN/WAN/Wireless, WAN Acceleration, Network Access Control, and Load Balancers.
• Cisco Technologies: Nexus, Catalyst, ISR Routers, ISE/TACACS, Wireless
• Network Monitoring Systems: Solarwinds Orion NPM, Netflow, Nagios
• WAN Acceleration: Riverbed
• Load Balancers: F5 Platform
• Proven deployment of Network Access Control (NAC) technologies
• Expertise with network technologies: OSI layers 1-7, Firewalls, Wireless, and Ethernet.
• Enterprise Level Virtualization Technologies: VMware vSphere, ESXi
• High availability and Disaster Recovery
• Conversant with programming languages such as PowerShell, Perl, or similar
