Hardware Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete PCB design from provided schematics.

• Extensive experience with Siemens Xpedition Layout (VX2.14 or similar) is required.

• Prior experience with Xpedition and some knowledge of PCAD (legacy tool) is preferred.

• Design of low voltage, high current PCBs with stack-ups of 2, 4, or 6 layers.

• Projects involve high current through-hole components (fuses, terminals, relays, busbars), as well as SMD support circuitry (ICs, capacitors, diodes, resistors, inductors, etc.).

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in PCB layout design, preferably in industrial or automotive environments.

• Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing constraints and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.

• Knowledge of signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management is a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and BOMs.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

• Siemens DxDesigner (schematic capture)

• PCAD (layout and schematic – legacy support)

• Gerber viewer software: CAM350 and/or CamTastic
