Engine Components Design Engineer - Casting - Creo

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop core engine components, with a strong focus on aluminum castings for engine blocks and cylinder heads
• Create and manage 3D geometry and design concepts using Creo
• Ensure designs comply with casting design rules, manufacturability, and quality requirements
• Apply GD&T principles to define functional tolerances and ensure dimensional robustness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs
• Support technical reviews and design validation activities throughout the development cycle
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and best practices

YOUR PROFILE:

• Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
• Experience in automotive engine design or a similar industrial environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of casting design for engine components
• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and concept development
• Solid understanding and practical application of GD&T
• Experience with engine block and/or cylinder head design is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Good technical communication skills
• Structured and quality-oriented mindset
