ECU Hardware Engineer
We are looking for a proactive and talented Hardware & Electronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced electronic systems for automotive applications. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in creating innovative solutions, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and enhancing the performance, safety, and reliability of our automotive products.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hardware Design & Development :
- Design, develop, and validate electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, and actuators for automotive systems (e.g., powertrain, ADAS, infotainment, battery management systems).
- Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar.
- Select and evaluate components based on performance, reliability, and cost.

System Integration & Testing :
- Integrate hardware systems with software and mechanical components.
- Conduct simulations, hardware testing, and validation to ensure optimal performance under various conditions (e.g., thermal, electrical, vibration).
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement solutions during prototype and production stages.

Compliance & Documentation :
- Ensure designs meet automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, etc.).
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Collaborate with certification bodies to secure regulatory approvals.

Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver cohesive system designs.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production integration.
- Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Years of experience in hardware/electronics design, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in hardware design tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of automotive electronic systems, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with power electronics and analog/digital circuit design.
- Knowledge of functional safety principles and standards, such as ISO 26262.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with EMC analysis.
- Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., AEC-Q, ASPICE).
- Hands-on experience with electric vehicle (EV) or hybrid vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Design tools (MATLAB/Simulink).
- Proficiency in embedded systems programming languages such as C/C++.
