Data Governance Specialist

Join our team as a Data Governance Specialist where you will play a key role in establishing a standardized MAN data governance structure aligned with the TRATON strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our data is effectively utilized for decision-making and operational activities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support in the further development of data governance topics, planning of the necessary resources and development of the necessary implementation steps.
• Depending on requirements/roadmap, the following projects fall under data governance and must be developed further depending on the respective level of maturity :

o Data Domain Model

o Data Catalog (e.g. Collibra, ...)

o Data ownership

o Clean Data Layer

o Internal Data Marketplace (expansion of the data catalog)

o External Data Marketplace

o Use Case Lifecycle

o Use case catalog and portfolio

o D&A Training

YOUR PROFILE:

Requirements / Skills:

• Extensive experience in data governance topics with a proven track record of implementation in corporate settings.
• Strong analytical skills to identify key points within complex data governance issues.
• Understanding of business processes and their interaction with data governance.
• Knowledge of data protection and data security regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to transparently articulate the tasks, efforts, and value of your own work and that of others.
• Professional Experience:
•  At least  4 years of professional experience in the field of data

  governance
