Data Analyst & SW developer (JIRA Admin)

 

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Jira Administration

• Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, schemes, screens, permissions, and custom fields.

• Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and access rights.

• Configure and optimize Jira workflows, including validators, conditions, and post functions.

• Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance with best practices.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of Jira governance standards.

 

Automation & Tool Configuration 

• Develop and maintain automations using native Jira Automation and ScriptRunner.

• Configure and manage Jira Marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner, Xray, BigPicture, and similar tools.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and workflow optimization.

• Participate in testing and deployment of new Jira functionalities.

 

Client Support & Service Management

• Act as the first point of contact for client and user requests related to Jira.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels.

• Follow up proactively with users and clients to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.

• Provide guidance and training to end users on Jira functionalities and best practices.

• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding incidents, requests, and enhancements.

 

Continuous Improvement 

• Identify recurring issues and propose sustainable solutions.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge articles.

• Contribute to the evolution of the Jira platform and related processes.

• Work closely with project teams to understand business needs and translate them into Jira solutions. 

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Enjoys interacting with clients and helping users solve problems.

• Demonstrates excellent responsiveness and a strong service-oriented mindset.

• Is comfortable managing support tickets and handling requests in a structured manner.

• Can work autonomously while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

• Has previous experience in an administrative, support, service desk, application support, or Jira administration role.

• Shows initiative in improving processes and user experience.

• Is reliable, reactive, and capable of handling urgent requests when required.

 

Required Skills Technical Skills

• Experience administering Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and configurations.

• Knowledge of Jira Automation and workflow customization.

• Familiarity with ScriptRunner or willingness to learn quickly.

• Experience with Jira Marketplace applications is a plus (Xray, BigPicture, Insight/Assets, etc.).

• Understanding of ticket management and support processes. Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Excellent customer service and client-facing abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management).

• Experience in Application Support, Service Desk, or Tool Administration.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience working directly with international clients.

• Basic understanding of scripting or automation concepts.
