Wir suchen Sie:

Master thesis in CAN Bus Simulation for Virtual ECU Integration (m/f/d)

IHR AUFGABENBEREICH:

• Research and implement a CAN bus simulation core in C supporting CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD and CAN XL protocols,
• Develop a communication interface to exchange raw CAN messages with FMU-based virtual ECUs running on standard co-simulation platforms,
• Ensure the simulator operates cross-platform on Windows and Linux,
• Include protocol features first; if time permits, extend simulation fidelty to timing behaviours, error states and bus load modelling as bonus features,
• Provide comprehensive and clear documentation describing the design, implementation and usage of CAN bus simulator.

IHR PROFIL:

• Student in informatics, natural sciences or similar,
• Experience with C programming,
• Knowledge of Vehicle Networks is a plus,
• Systematic and structured approach to work,
• Analytical and conceptual skills,
• Personality is more than anything!
