System Design Engineer
System Design Engineer for AVL Test Systems. Duties are powertrain system testing in dyno lab and vehicle including performing charging system testing & diagnosing failed charge events; performing coastdown testing for vehicle programs; supporting benchmarking & control calibration studies at system level; commissioning dyno labs from software and instrumentation perspective. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in the job duties as stated. Position also requires experience with using data acquisition systems, measurement equipment & dynamometers; testing and troubleshooting drive units & energy storage systems; and DVP&R development.
