Application Engineer
Application Engineer for AVL Test Systems, Inc. Position duties are providing technical engineering & customer liaison support services for HIL & SIL testing for the integration, development, commissioning and troubleshooting of battery, engine, e-axel & powertrain testbed automation systems in multi-configuration test cells including design and implement HIL models in FPGA systems; design, implement & tune advanced control loops; design, develop & test device drivers; configure test bed data acquisition automation software; troubleshoot test & measurements systems; create commissioning documentation; & provide training on the systems and applications. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 1 year experience in the job duties as stated.
