Process Development Engineer Assembly & Integration (f/m/d) 

Conceptualize, develop, and industrialize assembly and integration processes for opto-mechanical components, assemblies, and modules

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shaping precision assembly, alignment, integration, and quality-assured metrology processes for semiconductor manufacturing systems
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing and integration processes using statistical methods, data analytics, and machine learning approaches
• Develop robust and efficient processes, improve process capability through data-driven methods, and ensure sustainable transfer to operations
• Develop optimized manufacturing equipment and efficient process flows with interdisciplinary expert teams
• Transfer robust, high-performing processes to the shop floor and ensure lifecycle stability
• Define and align technical requirements and drive development, implementation, and release of assembly and integration solutions with stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners

YOUR PROFILE:

• Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline; preferably with a PhD or equivalent professional experience
• Solid knowledge of assembly, integration, and manufacturing technologies; experience in data-driven process analysis and statistical methods such as DoE, SPC, regression analysis, and process capability analysis
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills; high initiative; customer orientation; resilience; business-oriented mindset
• Assembly and integration process development; statistical process analysis; industrialization and process stability
• Experience with machine learning, Python, and industrial data analytics
