Technical Specialist

 

AVL Iberica S.A is growing our service team! We are looking for a Technical Specialist. If you are interested in growing your career with a leading technical and innovative company, this could be a fit for you! 

 

The service technician/engineer maintains, calibrates, and repairs AVL products, usually on customer's site. A service technician/engineer provides professional, customer-oriented services according to defined processes and contributes to the continuous improvement of products and services by providing feedback (e.g. service reports, feedback provided to quality/business units).

 

 

  

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

▪ Contribute to achieving maximum customer satisfaction.

▪ Support the achievement of high and sustainable profitability.

▪ Support the growth of service business (sending information on potential cross-selling and leads to responsible persons)

▪ Prepare and support the preparation of (own) service activities

▪ Attend/analyze customer requests, handle and resolve them (depending on skill level)

▪ Perform corrective and preventive maintenance as well as calibrations according to available guidelines (depending on skill level)

▪ Document services performed using defined templates (calibration protocols, service reports)

▪ User support (depending on skill level)

▪ Provide useful feedback on optimization potentials, customers, products and services to management, support organization, product management and quality.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

  • Technical education on electrics, electronics, or mechanics
  • Intermediate or superior training in multidisciplinary sectors of the industry (recommended industrial maintenance).
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • English (minimum B2 level).
  • Spanish (minimum B2 level)
  • Organization, responsibility, and autonomy.
  • Resolution in decision making and technical problems.
  • Teamwork.
  • Communication skills with the client.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Adequate time management and recommended tasks.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Willingness to travel >40%
