ITS Service Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for / Main Duty

• Delivery of professional and customer-oriented services according to customer requirements and the defined processes and contributes to continuous improvement of products and services by providing feedback
• Responsibilities for both plannable and unplannable services consisting of system start-up support, operation support, maintenance & calibration as well as user supports (system investigation, troubleshooting and repair).

Operational Tasks

• Performs test bed equipment installation, configuration and maintenance & calibration
• Constant advancement of troubleshooting knowledge for a growing operation effectiveness
• Provide start-up and operation support
• Professional and timely documentation of his activities
• Service/analyze customer’s requests and handle/solve them
• Provide useful feedback on optimization potentials, customers, products and services to management, support organization, product and quality management
• Evaluate the situation at the customer and immediately report or escalate it to the Skill Team Leader depends on the onsite circumstances

YOUR PROFILE:

• Graduated in a diploma (technical major) or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Be able to work under the high-pressure atmosphere, be flexible and work spirit.
• Good communication skills in Japanese and English.
• Able to work across country (Japan nationwide) and oversea business trip.
• Driving license is acquired.
• It is essential that the candidate be able to accept employment as a local employee in AVL Japan.
