 Vehicle Electric/ Electronics and Network Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vehicle Network engineering is a multi-disciplinary approach which requires strong Electrical/Electronic system knowledge along with a strong domain knowledge to develop in-vehicle communication network architectures from concept level to production sign-off.

• Development of E/E architectures on complete vehicle and system level,
• Design and validation of vehicle networks based on functions and function-partitioning,
• Taking part in architectural decisions and future trends,
• Customer management and presentations,
• Participating to validation tests in different locations around the world,
• Working with AVL Global experts on latest technologies and industry trends.

YOUR PROFILE:

• BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent engineering degree in electric/electronic, controls, mechatronics, automotive, mechanical engineering or related technical field,
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in R&D or product development projects,
• Strong understanding of Electrical/Electronic systems (E/E), vehicle controls and systems development lifecycle,
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Vehicle Communication Bus Systems (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, etc), Vehicle Network Architectures, Data Acquisition and Post-processing,
• Experience in one or more of the following tools: DOORS, Integrity, Vector Tools, Rhapsody, Matlab/Simulink,
• Programming experience (Phyton, C#, etc) would be a plus,
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German language skills would be a plus)
