Team Leader - Chassis and Driving Controls

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading a team (mentoring, guidance, supervision) 
• Development of know-how and expertise of the team
• Recruitment and career development
• Planning of resource allocation
• Ensuring team members have the necessary tools, training, and skills for their work
• Delivering assigned customer project with satisfying quality and in a timely manner
• Working together with the account manager to ensure smooth execution of ongoing projects
• Making sure relevant AVL/Customer processes are followed by the team
• Publishing and presenting technical work in relevant platforms and events
• Carrying out performance appraisal of team members
   

YOUR PROFILE:

• B.Sc. in Electronics, Controls, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automotive engineering, or other related area and preferably with MSc. or PhD. degrees
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in automotive controls
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English, (German would be a plus) 
• Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad

Good understanding of or interest in following topics:

• Vehicle Dynamics Analysis, Modelling and Simulation
• Vehicle Driving Functions and Controls Development (Torque vectoring, Traction control, Vehicle stability control)
• Chassis System Analysis and Modelling
• Chassis Controls Development (Brake, Steering, Suspension, Axle)
• Electrified Powertrain Architectures, Components, Controls and Safety
• Real-time Implementation of Control and Estimation Algorithms
• Requirement Engineering, Architecture Definition, Integration, Verification and Validation
• Experience in Automotive Controls and Model-based SW Development
• Experience with Automotive Development Tools
