Systems and Calibration Engineer - ADAS/AD

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• For safe and fascinating driving experience, develop and define functional/non-functional requirements of ADAS/AD features with performance KPIs
• Reflect your system and domain knowledge to design ADAS/AD features according to standards and legislations
• Develop simulation platforms and methodologies for virtual calibration and validation of ADAS/AD systems
• Travel the world for environmental tests in different and exciting locations (e.g. USA, Italy, Finland, Spain).
• Work with AVL Global experts to keep up with latest technologies and industry trends.

YOUR PROFILE:

• BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent engineering degree in electric/electronic, controls, mechatronics, automotive, mechanical engineering or related technical field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in R&D and product development projects 
• Strong understanding of ADAS/AD system architectures, vehicle control and systems development lifecycle
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Requirement Engineering, Controller / Algorithm Design and Implementation, Optimization Methodologies, Modeling, Data acquisition and Post-processing with Matlab/Simulink
• Experience in ADAS/AD regulations/standards and vehicle integration & validation
• Good understanding in one or more of the following areas:  Vehicle Dynamic, E/E architecture, AV sensors & actuators and Vehicle Safety
• Having programming experience in any language (Phyton, C#, etc) is a plus
