Software Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Software Engineers develop advanced components and systems to be able to handle upcoming challenges of autonomy, electrification and digitalization in automotive. They focus on creating environments to process large amounts of data, implement sophisticated algorithms for analysis of vehicle performance, and develop engineering software and tools to support efficient development of next generation vehicles.

Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Requirements engineering/management at system and/or component level
• Algorithm/component or methodology development (tools and applications)
• Test development and systematic testing at component and system level

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering, Computer Science / Informatics, and preferably Masters and/or PhD qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English 
• Interest in automotive systems
• Eager to learn state of the art technologies and techniques to come up with elegant solutions to the problems
• Fast learner, treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop.
• Willingness to frequent and long term travel abroad

And a solid understanding of the following topics:

• Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Algorithms & Data Structures, Databases and Computer Networks
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development process is an advantage, Requirement capture and tracking, Issue tracking (e.g. JIRA, etc.) 
• Working in an Application Lifecycle Management environment – e.g. Version Control (GiT, SVN, etc.) C#/.NET or JAVA, or C/C++
• Python and/or other scripting languages is a plus
• Matlab experience is an advantage
