Mechanic Designer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Concept design, project planning and system engineering of mechanical components for Testbed Systems.

• Responsible for the overall mechanical test bed system to fulfil customer requirements   from the acquisition phase to final acceptance of the system.

• Preparation of technical drawings / documentations considering the standards in force.

• Preparation of quotations for non-standardized mechanical systems.

• Technical supplier development in cooperation with Purchasing and Product   Management.

• Acts as liaison and contact for all mechanical issues of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS;

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and all releated fields.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, ideally in the engine or powertrain area.

• Solid basic engineering and theoretical knowledge.

• Expert level 3D-CAD knowledge, preferably SolidWorks.

• Experienced in manufacturing methods such as machining, welding, sheet metal.

• Strong knowledge of GT&D.

• Mechanical design and layout of products and devices using 3D/2D design tools, tolerance calculation, simulation, etc.

• Excellent spoken and written command of English.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to travel abroad.
