Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design next generation automotive electronic hardware including schematic, PCB layout, circuit tolerance and worst case analysis.
• Prepare and review the design documentation for product release including specifications, schematics and bill of materials.
• Defining HW/SW and communication interfaces (CAN, LIN etc.), specifying and performing circuit design validation tests and components sourcing activities.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or, preferably, Masters and/or PhD qualifications.   
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.
• German language skill would be a plus.
• Willingness to  travel abroad
• No military service obligations (military service completed)

Good understanding of, and experience in, at least three of the following topics:

• Automotive Electronics
• Low/High Voltage Analog Circuit Design
• Switch Mode Power Supplies
• Embedded Systems Hardware Design 
• Spice Simulation Tools (in particular, LT Spice)
• Schematic & PCB Layout Design (in particular, using ALTIUM Designer)
• Automotive-specific Components & Design Rules
