Electric Drive Control Systems Engineer
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Electric Drive Control Systems Engineer within our E-Drive team, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for the rapidly evolving field of Automotive E-Drive Controls.
- Algorithm development for E-Motor Controls and Power Electronics with MATLAB/Simulink
- Communication on technical topics with engineering teams of international customer base
- Supporting development of innovative solutions with your ideas
- Working closely with our customers to define the controls requirements and to implement concepts
- Support the system engineering activities for electric drive systems, from initial concept through to production
- Develop and manage system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory standards
- Design system architecture for electric drive systems, including component interfaces and integration strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, testing, and validation) to ensure seamless system integration
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Controls/Mechatronics Engineering, and preferably, Master’s or PhD
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related area
- In-depth knowledge of electric motors, inverters, power electronics, and control algorithms
- Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, including requirements management, system design, integration, verification, and validation
- Experience with systems modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SysML)
- Analytical and conceptual knowledge about Automotive domain
- Good English communication skills (German language skills would be a plus)
- Willingness to travel abroad
