Automotive E/E Component Engineer (HMI and Multimedia Systems)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for system and functional integration and technical project management
- Participation in preparation of E/E system requirements and specifications
- Liaise with the other teams and/or suppliers to provide information regarding requirements and specifications (i.e. SW team, design team)
- Supplier management for E/E component development
- Lead program content change request process for assigned component
- Status reporting for management alignment, results, decisions, etc.
- Definition of test and validation tasks, and assessment of results (DVP& activities)
- Support electrical design, mechanical design, integration activities
- Ensuring development quality and defining respective measures (requirements engineering, review loops, document release, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Automotive Engineering (preferably MSc Degree in engineering)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle E/E systems and multimedia systems (preferably in automotive sector)
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German would be a plus)
- Strong documenting, presenting and reporting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad
Good understanding of or interest in following topics:
- Automotive E/E Systems
- HMI & Multimedia Systems
- Electrical and Mechanical Integration of E/E Components, Sensors and Actuators
- E/E Safety Standards and Calculations
- Design and Release process of E/E components
- LIN, CAN, Ethernet communication
