AVL Research & Engineering offers a job in Türkiye (TR) as

Automotive Control Systems Engineer

 

The position will initially be based in Bursa. Candidates are expected to be willing to relocate to Istanbul after the completion of the project phase.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

 

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Control Engineering, and preferably Master’s
•Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English 
•Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive controls 
•Fast learner, treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop           
•Good communication, presentation and planning skills

 

And a good understanding of at least three of the following topics:

 
•Deep understanding of vehicle electronics, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, and electronic components.
•Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing systems.
•Strong knowledge of automotive network architecture, CAN/LIN analysis, and simulation tools.
•Ability to perform software validation at both the vehicle and system level.
•Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C, CAPL, and Python
•Working knowledge of the V-Cycle and ASPICE processes.
•Experience interfacing with design and systems engineering teams to align on functionality and requirements.
 
 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES;
 

Automotive Control Systems Engineers develop state of the art algorithms and functions for upcoming vehicles with electrified powertrains, automatic transmissions, driver assistance and autonomous driving features as well as engineering software and tools to support efficient development of such software and features.

 

Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:

 

•Conduct ECU-based and system-level integration tests on HIL systems, test benches, and test vehicles.
•Perform software updates and track changes to the test environment configurations.
•Execute validation activities for both new and ongoing projects.
•Develop and execute validation test plans and procedures for electrical systems and Functions.
•Perform deep-dive analysis of log files to identify root causes of bugs and issues.
•Set up, commission, and maintain test benches and test environments.
