Thesis - 3D EMC Wiring harness simulation
Master Thesis
Simulation, analysis and optimization of wiring harness with FEM simulation software. (Electric/ Magnetic field, voltage drops, temperature, current density analysis)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Investigation of different coupling paths between cables
- Setup of a model of the low voltage system with all relevant components
- Running the simulation with different parameters of the relevant system components
- Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs
- Compare the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
- All findings will be documented into a workflow and processes.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Ongoing studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
- Basic knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice)
- Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
- Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
- Demanding tasks and opportunity to working independently
- Goal-oriented working style
- Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial
