Technical Support Engineer f/m/d
In this exciting position, you will be responsible for providing technical second-level support in the area of test bed automation for premium customers. As a valuable member of our CARE Solution Team, you will independently analyze and solve complex technical challenges and act as a central point of contact. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical second-level support in the area of test bed automation for premium customers
- Independent problem analysis of technically complex systems with a high degree of automation using simulators, via remote connection to the customer system and, in exceptional cases, on site
- Active interface with first-level support and colleagues in development and engineering
- Analysis, reproduction, solution and documentation of customer requests in the ticket system
- Timely and appropriate problem solving
- Escalation management in the event of a conflict
- Collaboration in optimizing internal processes and tools used
- Maintenance and expansion of the knowledge base to continuously improve support quality
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed training (Secondary technical College, University or University of Applied Sciences) with a focus on electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or similar
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the areas of technical support, test bench commissioning, application development, test bench operation, software engineering, software testing or similar required
- Technical knowledge of one or more AVL products, in particular AVL software products such as PUMA, LYNX and EMCON required
- Experience in the test bench area and especially in the field of electrification is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Customer orientation and ability to work in a team for the interface activity
- Very good problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Very good knowledge of German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €55,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
