Technical Lead Electric Vehicle Charging f/m/d
As the highest technical authority for Electric Vehicle Charging products, you will drive decisions on solutions that balance complexity, resources, and time-to-market. Collaborating closely with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders such as Product Development and Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in our projects. This position offers significant career growth, high visibility, and the potential to advance into a leadership role within 2-3 years.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Leadership: Acts as the technical authority on projects, supports task planning and effort estimation, and provides technical support to the team
- Conflict Resolution and Guidance: Resolves technical conflicts, guides daily development work, and provides solutions to product-related issues
- Patent and Compliance: Manages patent queries and applications, ensures compliance with product standards and AVL processes
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintains development documentation and project database, reviews and releases technical reports
- Product Design and Optimization: Ensures state-of-the-art, cost-optimized product design that meets user and system requirements
- Knowledge Transfer and Implementation: Manages technical know-how transfer between development and production, translating customer needs into technical solutions
- Quality Assurance: Reviews work results with the team to ensure accuracy and quality according to guidelines and processes
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed education (Secondary Technical College, University, University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology or comparable) with a focus on Electrical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in field of Electric Vehicle charging
- Deep understanding of applicable Standards and Processes in Electric Vehicle Charging
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach, enabling effective interactions with clients and colleagues
- Highly resilient and able to perform under pressure, approaching tasks proactively, with a solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 20 percent (mostly within Europe)
- Very good knowledge of English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €70,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
