Electrical System Commissioning, Analysis and Diagnostics

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical lead for all commissioning and data analysis aspects of battery and electrical systems and subsystems
- Definition and specification of commissioning and parameter verification tests
- Lead commissioning and troubleshooting in Electric/Electronic (E/E) areas of battery and electrical system testing
- Support during the integration phase, specifically in flashing and debugging processes
- Lead analysis of battery test results
- Diagnostics and analysis using CAN tools, including Vector Tools (CAN Card XL, CAN Case, etc.)
- Root cause analysis in battery and electrical system testing with focus on electrical failure modes
- Working under High Voltage (HV) conditions in testbeds, teardown areas, and at suppliers
- Development and optimization of test protocols and requirements, including EMC testing (hardware, environment, etc.)
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance battery testing methodologies
- Monitoring and analysis of industry trends and advancements in battery diagnostics and prognostics
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed education (Secondary Technical College, University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparable) with a focus on electrical engineering, telematics, automation technology or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, focusing on diagnostics
- Proficient understanding of E/E hardware design, automotive software architecture, and communication protocols
- Skilled in diagnostic tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, CAPL, INCA) and development tools (e.g., LT Spice, Matlab)
- Experience with E/E measurement equipment
- Ideally knowledgeable in HV battery validation and familiar with battery test hardware
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills, high initiative, determination, flexibility, and enthusiasm
- Very good knowledge in English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €68,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
