System Development Engineer Braking Functions (f/m/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a System Development Engineer Braking Functions who will play a key role in the functional design and development of modern braking systems in exciting customer projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and specify braking functions such as ESC, ABS, regenerative braking strategies and brake blending
• Design and align functional architectures within the overall Vehicle Motion Control system context
• Define, manage and maintain system and functional requirements
• Collaborate closely with software, systems and vehicle engineering teams to ensure seamless function integration
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities, including SiL, HiL and vehicle testing
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate external development partners and interface directly with OEM customers

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (University of Applied Sciences, University) with a focus on Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in the development of braking functions or brake systems
• Strong expertise in vehicle dynamics and control engineering
• Experience with modeling and simulation tools, ideally MATLAB/Simulink
• Good knowledge of Systems Engineering, ASPICE, and ISO 26262
• Experience in technical leadership, coordination or structuring development activities or a strong interest in taking on such responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
• Very good knowledge in English, German language skills are an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €60.970,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
