Skill Team Leader Verification, Validation & Reliability f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Skill Team Leader "Vehicle, Transmission & EDU / E-Axles" in the "Verification, Validation & Reliability" department
• Disciplinary and functional leadership of the specialist team and responsibility for the training and further education of the employees
• Further development and establishment of processes, standards and tools in the specialist team
• Technical responsibility for the development projects in the area of "Verification, Validation & Reliability" with the main focus on Vehicle & Powertrain Integration, Thermal & HVAC as well as Transmission & EDU / E-Axles incl. the associated release recommendations for product development
• Cross-product responsibility for all reliability methods incl. AVL Load Matrix and Model-Based Validation
• Deciding on the deployment of the specialist team members in projects
• Planning and tracking the workload for the specialist team
• Leading customer meetings for project and acquisition purposes
• Approving project planning quantity structures for the assigned area and providing technical support to sales and product lines
• Observation of technology and methodology trends on the market
• Development and implementation of concepts to increase efficiency
• Preparation of presentations and publications as well as representation at trade conferences and congresses

YOUR PROFILE:

• University degree (TU, FH) (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, control engineering or comparable degree programs)
• Technical experience in verification, validation and reliability of conventional and electrified powertrains
• Experience in the field of all powertrain configurations and vehicle architectures as well as corresponding market knowledge
• > 5 years of professional experience in leading employees using a cooperative leadership style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Ability to work in a team, creativity, sense of responsibility 
• Ability to cooperate with other AVL divisions locally as well as globally
• Sensitivity and feeling for internal and external customer needs and criticism
• Confident customer appearance
• Very good language skills in German and English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €95,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
